Whether you are a barbecue novice or a BBQ expert, keep the grill clean, because this is an important part of making food. This article teaches you how to clean the inside of the stainless gas grill. Close the gas valve of the grill. During the cleaning process, prevent dangerous gas leakage to avoid injury.

Take out the grilling net, and scrub it with a wire brush and detergent. You can buy barbecue brushes from local supermarkets. Wire brushes and acrylic paint brushes are also sold there. Remove all metal plates or baffles from the burner and scrub them clean. These metal plates are used to protect the burner and heat dissipation, so that the grill can be heated more evenly. Gently wipe the dust on the burner. Check the air holes of the burner to see if there are any blockages, and then use a toothpick to remove any objects that might obstruct the air.

Scrape off all the oil from the oil pan at the bottom of the grill. If the grill has a removable oil pan, you can pull the oil pan out and scrape off all the debris. Use a sponge dipped in soap to clean the bottom of the grill. After removing all the lumpy stains, you use a sponge or scouring pad and dish soap to scrub the bottom of the grill to remove any accumulated oil stains. Look around and under the lid to see if there is peeling paint or stuck food. Use a barbecue spatula to gently clean all spots on the bottom surface of the lid, and then wipe it off with a sponge dipped in soapy liquid.

Put the cover of the burner and the grill back to the original position. In the reverse order of disassembly, restore all items to their original positions. Turn on the gas valve and switch on the grill. Turn the knob of the grill to high heat, then close the lid and bake for 15 minutes to dry any remaining water stains or detergent on the inner surface of the grill. Turn off the burner and apply some oil on the grill. Spreading oil on the grill will help prevent food from sticking to the surface.
